The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Milton is proud to support the local art community by hosting a special exhibit featuring the artwork of Milton resident and artist Daphne Confar. Confar has been a professional artist for 20 years and has a studio in Boston’s Hyde Park neighborhood. Her work has been shown in exhibitions throughout the country, coast to coast, and in Europe. She earned a Master of Fine Arts from Boston University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Southern California. She has painted many self-portraits, as well as portraits of other individuals.

“Mostly I paint portraits of people, but sometimes I'll paint a still life or landscape. Lately, I’ve enjoyed painting birds. I have backyard chickens at home and have been inspired by them and their personalities. Also, I think little songbirds are sweet, and I have fun trying to capture their sweetness,” said Confar.
