Controlled Deer Hunt Set For Blue Hills Reservation In Milton

Eighty hunters will spread out over six Blue Hills Reservation Thursday for a controlled shotgun deer hunt.

MILTON, MA — A controlled shotgun deer hunt on Blue Hills Reservation is scheduled for Thursday. Through the Blue Hills Reservation Deer Management Program, this year's shotgun hunt had been reduced from four to two days. Tuesday's shotgun deer hunt was canceled on Monday due to expected snow.

Eighty hunters will be spread out over six management zones beginning at 8 a.m. The Wampatuck and Chickatawbut areas of the reservation have been excluded this year.
