Coronavirus: Milton Hits 56 Positive Tests In Town
Milton has stopped accepting food donations at the food pantry, asking for monetary donations instead, due to the coronavirus health crisis.
MILTON, MA — Milton had 56 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in town as of April 7. The Milton Health Department said the infected residents have been contacted by health officials and asked to isolate at home if hospitalization is not needed.
The increase is four over the number released on Monday and eight over Sunday.
The Milton Community Food Pantry has suspended all food donations from residents to the pantry due to the possible transfer of COVID-19. Monetary donations are still welcome and checks can be made payable to Milton Community Food Pantry at 158 Blue Hills Parkway Milton, MA 02186.
