Coronavirus: Milton Issues 'Stern' Social Distancing Warning
Signs are posted at Turner's Pond and Milton Landing telling residents to stay at least 6 feet away from each other at all times.
MILTON, MA — Milton officials are issuing "stern" warnings against congregating in groups on public land, and specifically playing sports together, during the coronavirus health emergency. Signs were posted on Monday at Milton Landing and Turner's Pond directing any visitors to stand at least 6 feet away from each other, cover their face if they cough or sneeze and wash hands often.
Milton has also closed all public tennis, basketball courts and street hockey courts.
"A stern reminder that the parks in #MiltonMA are open for passive recreation only (walking, exercising, etc.)," Milton officials posted on social media.
