Curry College student wins Sodexo Food Fanatic Food Tour promotion

Anthony Sciaudone, a student at Curry College, was recently selected as one of three lucky winners in Sodexo’s ORIGINS: THE FOUNDATIONS OF FLAVOR National Sweepstakes.

Featured at more than 600 college and university campuses managed by Sodexo nationwide, the promotion focused on classic foods and ingredients from centuries past with a particular emphasis on heirloom grains, fruits & vegetables as well as rustic cooking methods.

Sciaudone is receiving a food fanatic getaway that includes round-trip airfare for two, three nights’ hotel accommodations, a food tour and $350 in spending money. Sodexo, dining services partner at Curry College, sponsored the promotion.

“I'm so excited. If it wasn't for Curry students’ favorite cashier Jools Pemberton, I would not have entered the sweepstakes," said Sciaudone.

Sciaudone selected the New York City Food Tour to New York, New York. Sweepstakes winners had their choice of three food fanatic getaway locations: Taste of New Orleans Tour, New Orleans, LA; New York City Food Tour, New York City, NY; Flavors of Chicago Food Tour, Chicago, IL.

This event gave students a purest look at where their favorite foods originated and how they have evolved over time into the popular dishes of today. Additionally, all students had an opportunity to enter which gave three lucky winners a chance to win a trip of their choice to one of three food fanatic destinations.
