DPS Insurance Group Partners with Arbella Insurance to Support the Melanoma Foundation of New England

DPS Insurance Group, Inc. has partnered with Arbella Insurance on a campaign to raise funds for the Melanoma Foundation of New England. The organization provides free educational programs aimed at the prevention and early detection of skin cancer and melanoma, and assists those struggling with the disease.

Through this new campaign, any DPS Insurance customer who makes a donation to the Melanoma Foundation of New England may be eligible to receive a five percent discount on his or her personal automobile insurance policy carried with Arbella Insurance.

Having lost a family member to melanoma, Debbie Sullivan, vice president of DPS Insurance, shared why this partnership is very special to her: “We are extremely grateful for this foundation and we will continue to make every effort to support them. With the funds that we raise, the Melanoma Foundation of New England can continue to educate our community and prevent this deadly disease.”

Founded in 1999, the mission of the Melanoma Foundation of New England is to reduce the incidence of melanoma in the New England region. The foundation provides a variety of educational programs targeting the prevention and early detection of skin cancer and melanoma for both children and adults. Additionally, they assist patients and their caregivers struggling with melanoma by offering support groups, educational programs, and Billy’s Buddies, a one-on-one patient advocacy and support program.

“We are very appreciative of the efforts of both DPS and Arbella,” said Deb Girard, executive director of the Melanoma Foundation of New England. “This partnership will not only provide support to the Foundation, but will help share our message of the importance of early detection.”
