Boston City Singers uses a distinctive curriculum that trains children as young as three years old to learn to sing well. No other major area chorus program starts with children so young!  Each singer progresses through several levels: Kodály Singing Class, Neighborhood Training Chorus and Concert Chorus. Our singers learn about diverse communities and cultures by performing an extensive repertoire including gospel music, international folk music, opera, jazz, and medieval chant.

Auditions not required for the Kodály Singing Class. Informal auditions are required for the JP Training Chorus.

Children should be prepared to sing a short song and do a brief pitch-matching activity after the first class if they are new to Boston City Singers.
