Learn how to express your personal interpretation of nature through traditional Chinese ink painting, or brush stroke painting, with a workshop led by professional artist Tsun Ming Chmielinski on May 12, from 1 to 4 p.m.
This workshop will offer students an opportunity to paint with a simple and different art form. With Chinese brush stroke painting, one learns and masters the relationships between brush, paper, ink and water with a technique that captures the essence of nature in the most simple and spontaneous manner. Students will learn the basic techniques of Chinese calligraphy and painting composition. All levels are welcome.
The price of this workshop is $45.00 for Forbes House Museum members, $50.00 for non-members.
