Join the DCR and The Friends of the Blue Hills for the Twenty First Annual First Day Hikes Event. Enjoy free hot soup or hot chocolate and cookies around the fire at 12 p.m. Followed by FREE scenic 1 to 2 hour hikes for all ability levels led by DCR Park Rangers and FBH volunteers at 1 p.m.
Dress warmly and wear sturdy hiking boots for all hikes. Traction recommended if there is snow and you plan on hiking in the hills. Meet in the Houghton’s Pond Parking Lot and follow signs.
