
Ms. Money & the Coins’ musical adventures takes Ms. Money, Nick, Penny and selected audience members through imaginary circumstances regarding what they can do with money they receive or earn, what they can do if they don’t have any money and how to they can help their families save money.
Age-appropriate concepts such as needs vs. wants, saving, spending, sharing, interest, lending and borrowing are included in this musical lesson and the 35-minute show is followed by an optional 5-10 minute question/answer session. Each student receives a study guide sheet with fun facts, newly learned vocabulary, word searches and other games plus a piggy bank to take home to begin practicing saving.
This program is for children in grades K-5 and preregistration is required and available on the Library's website.
