What do I say to a friend dealing with a scary new diagnosis? How can I help my loved one facing death? What can I do, beyond bringing over a casserole?
If you have ever asked questions like these, this workshop is for you. Join us as we are led by Kendra Goodson Plating, chaplain at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, in talking about how to be with friends, family, and loved ones in the most confounding of situations. We will discuss how the quality of our presence matters in times when there is nothing we can do to ‘fix it’ and nothing we can say to ‘make it better.’
Child care is available upon advance request. Contact assistantmin@fpmilton.org with questions or to request child care.
