"The Wizard of Oz" at Riverside Theatre Works

Follow the yellow brick road to “The Wizard of Oz,” the 30th annual youth theatre production at Riverside Theatre Works. One of Boston’s most cherished community theaters, Riverside puts on affordable, quality shows year-round in a classic Hyde Park opera house. The all-youth show has become an April vacation week tradition -- a way for students hone their musical theater skills, and for kids around the region to see their friends onstage.

 “The Wizard of Oz” features 60 kids and teens, ranging in age from 5 to 18, directed and choreographed by a professional staff. Join them for infectious songs and family-friendly fun! Vacation week performances on April 16, 17, 18 and 19 at 11 a.m.; April 20 and 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; April 22 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
