Writing Workshop for Parent-Educators

For some students, looking at a blank page may be a very frightening proposition. Yet, everyone has something to write; it is just a matter of getting started.

As parent-educators, you can help students begin this process by helping them to organize their ideas. During this workshop, you will review several prewriting techniques, and you will get some tips on motivating reluctant writers.
This workshop addresses writing for elementary through high school levels. Homeschool students and parents are welcome to attend. Please bring a pen, pencil and paper.

RSVP starleenmilton@aol.com to reserve your space. Please include the number of adults and children attending, as well as the student ages and grade levels. Hosted by the Friends of the Milton Public Library.
