FBI Report: How Much Violent Crime Happened in Milton in 2014?

The FBI recently released its annual ”Crime in the United States” report, which includes information about Milton.

According to the report, Milton saw 11 violent crimes in 2014. Violent crime includes offenses involving force or the threat of force: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, according to the FBI.

There were no reported rapes, six robberies, and five aggravated assaults.

Other crime stats for Milton include 189 larcenies, 76 burglaries, four motor vehicle thefts, and 269 property crimes.

Nationally, violent crime decreased nationally last year by 0.2 percent from 2013, according to the report.
