Former Milton High School Guidance Counselor Accused of Stealing AP Exam Fees

The former head of the guidance department at Milton High School has been charged with stealing about $30,000 in Advanced Placement exam fees.
Kenneth Aubert, 62, of Roslindale, pleaded not guilty to five counts of larceny over $250 in August according to the Boston Globe.
The charges and investigation were announced by Superintendent Mary C. Gormley at a recent school committee meeting.

In her blog and newsletter to parents and officials, Gormley said that the thefts came to the attention of the Milton High School staff when the collection and payment of fees for the AP exams appeared to be incomplete.
The school has ordered an outside independent review focusing on how cash is handled.
