Goodwill Names New Vice President of Human Resources

Executive Heather Kenney brings more than 20 years of experience to organization

BOSTON (Aug. 20, 2015) – Heather Kenney, a Milton resident and successful human resources executive with more than 20 years of experience, has been appointed Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries’ vice president of human resources.

Heather joins Goodwill from Northland Investment Corporation where she was the senior human resources executive. Northland owns, manages and develops residential and commercial properties and has more than 500 employees in seven states. Prior to Northland, Heather worked in human resources in the hospitality industry, including the Hilton Logan Airport Hotel and the Double Tree Hotel in Boston.

“We are excited to have Heather join Goodwill,” said Joanne Hilferty, president and CEO of Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries. “As we grow our social enterprises and our programs that help individuals with barriers to self-sufficiency enter the workforce, Heather’s leadership abilities and human resource skills and experience will be valuable assets.”

Heather holds degrees from Lesley University and Johnson and Wales.
