Hull Man Charged in Milton Bank Robbery Found in New Hampshire

John Burke was arrested in Jaffrey, New Hampshire and charged with unarmed robbery.

MILTON, MA — A Hull man staying in New Hampshire has been identified as the alleged suspect in a Milton bank robbery.

John Burke was arrested in Jaffrey, New Hampshire and charged with unarmed robbery, according to the Milton Police Department. He was also wanted on a warrant out of Weymouth. The suspect, identified as Burke, allegedly passed the teller a demand note and left with cash.

Two days later, police learned that Burke had a connection to the New Hampshire town. Police in Jaffrey were able to locate Burke and the vehicle allegedly used in the robbery and arrest him.

Burke is being held in a Cheshire County jail in New Hampshire while is awaits extradition back to Massachusetts. He will be arraigned in Quincy District Court upon his return.
