Hurricane Irma: How Milton Residents Can Help The Virgin Islands
The Milton Public Library is hosting a United Way drive to benefit the islands.

MILTON, MA – The Milton Public Library is hosting a United Way drive to benefit the Virgin Islands in the wake of Hurricane Irma. Donations will be accepted through Saturday, Sept. 16 at 5 p.m.
Below is a list of needed items:
- Non-Perishable Food Items (Canned Goods, Granola Bars, Peanut Butter, etc.)
- Infant Care Products (Diapers, Wipes, Formula)
- Feminine Care Products
- Toiletries (Deodorant, Bug Spray, Toothpaste, Tooth Brushes, Soap, etc.)
- Flashlights
- First Aid Kits
- Tarps
- Mosquito Nets
- Solar Showers/Lanterns
- Batteries
- Dog and Cat Food
All items will be sorted, packaged and shipped to the Virgin Islands, where it will be sorted by the director of the United Way of the VI.
