Hyde Park Man Charged With Raping Curry College Student

MILTON, MA — A Hyde Park man faces accusations that he raped a Curry College student inside her dorm.

Godson Derosena, 18, was arraigned Friday in Quincy District Court and faces charges of indecent assault and battery and rape.

Police say the victim reported the alleged incident on March 22. She told campus police that Derosena raped her insider her dorm on March 20, according to the Patriot Ledger.

She said she's known Derosena for about three years and recently told him she was moving to another state. As they were watching a movie together in the victim's dorm on March 20, Derosena allegedly started sexually assaulting the victim and was told to stop at least five times, according to a police report. He left once she started crying.

When investigators visited Derosena's dorm at Northeastern, he said he didn't stop the act until she was “really, really crying a lot."

Derosena is due back in court July 27.
