Local Scouts Rally to Help Milton Man After Fall
Longtime Eagle Scout and Camp Sayre staffer Artie Melville fractured his spine over the weekend.

Fundraising efforts are underway to help a local Milton man and Eagle Scout after a very bad fall.
On June 6, Artie Melville, the COPE course director at Camp Sayre, was seriously injured in a fall while at camp. While belaying down from the high ropes tower, he fell backwards approximately 6-7 feet and fractured his spine.
He underwent emergency surgery at Boston Medical Center, but the road to recovery will be long. To help pay for the medical expenses associated with the recovery, the Boy Scouts of Boston have created a fundraising page to collect donations.
