Milton Cross Country to Host Youth Trail Run

The Milton High School Cross Country team is hosting the Youth Trail Run on Sunday, Nov. 16.

The race, to be held at Turner’s Pond, will be open to any student in Grades 1 to 8.

There will be a one-mile race for 1st & 2nd graders; a 1.5 mile race for 3rd – 5th graders, and a 2.5 mile race for 6th-8th graders.

Registration is being held on the day of the race and will begin at noontime. The shorter races begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the longer races. The cost is $10 and all participants receive a prize. Registration tables will be set up in the parking lot area near Glover Elementary School.

The race is being held as a fundraiser for the Milton High Cross Country program and to raise awareness about the sport of cross country.
