Milton High Among Newsweek's Best Schools in America

For the third time, Milton High School ranked on the national list.

For the third year in a row, Newsweek named Milton High School one of America's Best High Schools. Milton came in at number 692 nationally, and 13th out of 20 Massachusetts schools.

According to Newsweek the list is selected, "based on how hard school staffs work to challenge students with advanced-placement college-level courses and tests."

The rankings are developed based on the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate or Cambridge (AICE) tests given at a school each year and divide by the number of graduating seniors. All of the schools that had a ratio above one were named to the list, which included 1,600 schools or six percent of the U.S. public school system.
