The Milton High students qualified for the show by earning top scores at “Super Sunday,” last month, during which 90 teams from around the state took a 100-question oral quiz at the WGBH studios. Only 16 teams qualified to appear on the show, which will air on Feburary 12, 2012.
"Our students were truly amazing,” said Nancy Mikels, at Milton High teacher who coaches the team along with fellow teacher Paul Arenburg. “It wasn't just their knowledge, it was the way they conducted themselves and the respect they showed all members of WGBH-TV. It was a pleasure to spend the day with these young adults and they are all looking forward to the upcoming competitions. In fact, they are begging me for homework so they can make it to the end.”
