Milton High Teacher Earns National Recognition

Science teacher Loyola Pasiewicz is one of 220 teachers in the nation to be selected for a Fellowship Program in the New Science Teacher Academy.

A science teacher was recently notified that she was selected for national fellowship to recognize promising new teachers.

Loyola Pasiewicz was named one of only two teachers in Massachusetts to qualify for a Fellowship Program in the New Science Teacher Academy.

This prestigious fellowship was awarded by the National Science Teachers Association, the largest professional organization in the world promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning for all.

Only 220 teachers in the nation were chosen for this honor. Ms. Pasiewicz will participate in a yearlong professional development program designed to promote quality science teaching. She has also been invited to the NSTA national conference and is eligible to participate in web seminars, e-Mentoring and specialized conference pathways.
