Milton High Track Coach on Administrative Leave Pending Court Action
The Milton High girls track coach allegedly engaged in unlawful contact with a young female student.

Milton High School teacher and girls track coach Dale Snyder is on administrative leave from the school department and faces arraignment in court Monday morning over charges that he "engaged in unlawful conduct with a young female student."
Milton Police Chief Richard Wells Jr. made that announcement Friday evening after Synder, an Abington resident, was arrested. In a letter also released Friday by Superintendent Mary C. Gormley to parents and staff, Gormley said that Snyder is on paid administrative leave and that the school system is fully cooperating with the investigation.
"The Milton Public School system takes any allegations which suggest a threat to the safety and integrity of our students extremely seriously," Gormley wrote. "We therefore ask each parent/guardian to have a very frank and open discussion with their children.
