Milton Library to Host Writing Workshop for Homeschool Students, Parents
Bright Star Education will hold a writing workshop for Homeschool students and parent educators on January 4.

Does your child struggle with writing assignments? Then join us for a free workshop and informational session offered by Bright Star Education on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., downstairs in the Keys Community Room at the .
This workshop will address writing for students in elementary through high school levels. Homeschool students and parents are welcome. Workshop attendees should bring pen and paper.
Instructors Starleen Baylon and Zahra Belyea will share tips on “The Writing Process: Getting the Student Started.” Some students feel frightened by the blank page. Yet everyone has something to express in writing, and this workshop will help parent-educators bring out a child’s talents. Organizing thoughts and several prewriting techniques will be shared, as well as tips to motivate reluctant writers.

This workshop is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required. Email starleenmilton@aol.com to reserve your space. Please include the number of adults and children attending, as well as student ages and grade levels.
