Milton Man had 500 Pills, Warrant Out of Florida: Stoughton Police

STOUGHTON, MA - A Milton man faces multiple drug charges in Stoughton.

Early Monday morning, Aby Joseph, 25, was arrested and charged with possession of Class B and E drugs with intent to distribute and possession of a dangerous weapon while being arrested on a warrant. He was a fugitive from justice for an outstanding warrant out of Florida, according to the Stoughton Police Department.

At about 2:15 a.m., Officer Daniel Barber conducted a traffic stop after observing a motor vehicle that was stopped in the middle of the street and straddling the double yellow line. During an investigation. police discovered that Joseph, a passenger in the vehicle, was in possession of 500 pills, nearly $6,000 in cash and a large knife.

Joseph was scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Stoughton District Court.
