Milton Named One of America's Best Small Cities

MILTON, MA — Not only is Milton a great place to live, but it's pretty good compared to similar communities across the county.

Monday, WalletHub released their list of the best small cities in America, placing Milton eighth. The top spot went to Westfield, Ind.

According to WalletHub's stats, Milton scored a 67.33, which put them in the 99th percentile. It was 278th in affordability, 19th in economic health, third in education and health, 389th in quality of life, and 42nd in safety.

WalletHub’s analysts compared 1,268 U.S. cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000. The data set of 30 key metrics ranged from housing costs to school-system quality to number of restaurants per capita.
