Milton NHL Star Honors Young Marathon Victim

Keith Yandle, an NHL defenseman from Milton wore a special jersey with the name "Martin Richard" on the back, to honor the 8-year-old marathon bombing victim.

Phoenix Coyotes defenseman Keith Yandle honored his hometown city on the ice once again on Saturday night. This time he honored Martin Richard, the 8-year-old boy killed during the twin explosions at the Boston Marathon.

Yandle, who is from Milton,  wore a special jersey with the name “Martin Richard”  on the back during warm-ups before his game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

"There's nothing I can really say or do; it's just wanting to show my support and show my family that I'm thinking of them, praying for them, and show my family back home that I love them," Yandle told Fox Sports Arizona before the game.
