The lone business in the 900 block of Canton Avenue, near Unquity Road, is the on the corner. Long before that service station, a market anchored that block.
The Blue Hill Market, which is featured in the first photo from the late 19th century, sat where 959 Canton Avenue is today.
The second photo shows the home at that address in 2012, over 100 years after the photo of the Blue Hill Market was taken.
