Milton Police Log: Vandalism, Hit and Run

Aug. 8

8:06 a.m. - Party walked into the station to report a larceny.

1:33 p.m. - Party walked into the station to report a larceny.

2:57 p.m. - An officer stopped a moped at the intersection of Bryant Avenue and State Street. One party was issued a civil citation.

4:58 p.m. - An officer reported a motor vehicle stop on Lothrop Avenue. The operator was issued a civil citation for unregistered vehicle. The vehicle was towed by Auto Service & Tire.

6:24 p.m. - Officer reported a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Robbins Street. One adult male was cited for a violation of the auto laws. The vehicle was towed by Auto Service & Tire.

7:38 p.m. - A caller reported that an aggressive solicitor had come to her home on Atherton Street earlier in the day. After the solicitor left, the caller noticed a small pen size hole in her screen.

10:42 p.m. - A caller reported a group of youths that banged on her door and caused damaged to it. . An officer spoke with the resident who did not wish to press charges.

Aug. 9

10:51 a.m. - A caller reported a black tow truck hit his motor vehicle on Blue Hill Avenue and fled the scene. The caller did not want to file a report at this time but may come in at a later date.

3:07 p.m. - A caller reported a motor vehicle accident into a traffic pole at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Brush Hill Road. Fallon and Milton Fire were notified. An officer reported no personal injuries.
