Milton Police Seeking Cadet Program Candidates
The Milton 2019 police cadet test will be Dec. 3 and is open to those 23 or younger with an interest in a career in law enforcement.
MILTON, MA — Milton is seeking candidates to apply for positions within the Milton Police Department. The town is inviting those interested in become a Milton police officer to take its cadets exam on Dec. 3.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for a young person interested in a career in law enforcement," Milton PD wrote on its Facebook page.
Those 17-and-older are eligible to take the test with employment opportunities for those between 18 and 25. Applicants must be younger than 23 at the time of appointment.

The 33-year-old program hires employees for duties that include answering 911 calls, dispatching police and medical calls for service, as well as well as assisting the public at the front desk. Both full- and part-time positions are available. The exam is open to Milton residents, as well as non-resident female and minority candidates. Salary range is between $16.98 and $19.15 per hour with health and dental coverage, accrued vacation and sick leave benefits.
