Milton to Receive More Funds for Roads and Bridges From State
An additional $311,029 in Chapter 90 state road and bridge funding will be heading Milton's way.

From State Senator Brian Joyce:
Milton will soon receive an additional $311,029 in Chapter 90 state road and bridge funding. Some $300 million was authorized in the state Transportation Bond Bill, but only $200 million of that has been released to date, according to Senator Brian A. Joyce, Senate chair of the Bonding Committee. The additional $100 million will be allocated according to miles of roadway within a community, and will be welcome news to motorists throughout the state.
With the release of the additional Chapter 90 funding, state road and bridge funding for Milton will have increased 50% over last year.
