Milton Schools Launch Return To Classroom Road Map
Milton Superintendent Mary Gormley is looking for community input as part of plans to effectively move back to in-school learning this fall.
MILTON, MA — Milton Schools are looking for community feedback — including from students who were part of the distance-learning program this spring amid the coronavirus health crisis — as they prepare for a hopeful return to the classroom this fall.
Milton Superintendent of Schools Mary Gormley said in a letter to the school community this week that updates will be coming over the next 10 weeks via email, on social media and on the Return to School Milton website.
There are several subcommittees working on different aspects of the return.

Milton's Return to School Task Force recently surveyed community members and staff and now asking for assistance in helping us get these questions to students.
Parents and guardians are asked to help students in early elementary grades complete the questions. Older students are asked to answer the questions honestly and independently.

The goal is to ensure that students' views are represented while a plan is put in place for a safe return to school this fall.
The Return to School Task Force website will include updated task force information throughout the summer.
