Shooting On Blue Hills Parkway In Milton Under Investigation

MILTON, MA – Police are investigating a shooting in Milton that left a Dorchester man hospitalized Tuesday night. Police said the 20-year-old victim was shot around 9:50 p.m. in the area of 100 Blue Hills Parkway and was able to make his way on foot to the Mattapan T station. Investigators believe he was shot after he and a group of young men got into an altercation with another group, according to state police.

The man was taken to Boston Medical Center and is expected to survive, police said.

Police believe the shooter fled with his group toward Brook Road in Milton. The shooting is under investigation.
