Milton Students Earn Academic Honors

Michael Graham Named to 2012 Spring Chancellor's List at UMass Dartmouth

Michael Graham of Milton who is majoring in Mechanical Engineering at UMass Dartmouth, has been named to the Spring 2012 Chancellor's list in recognition of earning a semester grade point average of 3.8 or higher of a possible 4.0.

Milton residents make the dean's list at Quinnipiac University

The following area residents were named to the dean's list for the Spring 2012 semester at Quinnipiac University:

To qualify for the dean's list, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits, including 12 that have been graded A through C in a semester. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester to be eligible.

Emily Lynch of Milton Named to JMU's dean's list

Milton resident, Emily Lynch, has been named to the dean's list at James Madison University for the spring 2012 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Lynch is majoring in communication sciences and disorders.

Alexander Scott Moffett of Milton Named to Clemson University Dean's List

Alexander Scott Moffett of Milton has been named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the spring 2012 semester. Moffett is majoring in Biological Sciences.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Milton Students Named to Colby College Dean's List

Area students were named to the dean's list at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for their outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2011-12 year.

• Rachel M. Guerra, a member of the Class of 2013, is the daughter of Richard and Rose Guerra of Milton, Mass., and attended Ursuline Academy.
• Holly E. Mawn, a member of the Class of 2013, is the daughter of Peter Mawn and Sandra Carr of Milton, Mass., and attended Milton Academy.
• Nathanael P. Sugarbaker, a member of the Class of 2013, is the son of David and Linda Sugarbaker of Milton, Mass., and attended Thayer Academy.
• Students whose grade point averages were 3.68 or higher were named to the Dean's List.
