Milton will celebrate Independence Dayon Thursday, July 4 with Field and Relay Races at Kelly Field starting at 9:30 a.m. The event, hosted by the Milton Kiwanis Club, will feature races and ribbons for different age groups. There will also be American flags, the Park Department will have its face painting expert on hand, the Milton Auxiliary Fire Department will be showcasing its vintage Fire Engine, and there will be ice cream for all. It is supported by the Milton Board of Selectmen, Milton Park Department, Milton Fire Department and Milton Department of Public Works.
