Milton Woman Charged with Second Drunken Driving Offense, Leaving the Scene of Braintree Crash

A Milton woman was arrested Tuesday morning after a reported hit and run on Frederick Road.
Ester Reid, 31, was charged with drunken driving (second offense), leaving the scene of property damage, and marked lanes violation according to Police Chief Russ Jenkins.
Police responded to the crash shortly after 4:30 a.m. Witnesses told police that a dark-colored sedan had left the area after allegedly crashing into two parked vehicles.

A vehicle matching the description was located moments later on Washington Street with heavy damage.
As officers spoke to the operator, who was identified as Reis, they made observations that led them to believe she was impaired. She was later taken into custody.
