Man Killed In Rt. 28 Motorcycle Crash ID'd

A 26-year-old Dorchester man died from injuries he sustained when his motorcycle and another car collided.

MILTON, MA – A man has died from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle crash on Route 28 in Milton Thursday morning. Police identified the victim as Colin Dixon, 26, of Dorchester.

The crash was reported around 9 a.m. on the Randolph Avenue section of Route 28. Police believe Dixon was riding his motorcycle southbound when an Audi SUV turned from the northbound side toward Hallen Avenue and collided with him.

Dixon was transported to Milton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Audi remained at the scene and cooperated with police. No charges have been filed at this time.

Randolph was closed between Reedsdale Road and Chickatawbut Road but has since reopened.
