Nine Injured in Six-Car Accident on Route 138

Drivers near the Blue Hills Ski Area on Route 138 experienced a considerable delay Monday morning after a six vehicle accident occurred.

Nine people were hurt in the incident including six students who were aboard a school bus to Walpole involved in the accident according to WCVB.

Milton Deputy Fire Chief Brian Linehan said he received reports of multiple injuries but nothing life threatening.

Fire and rescue crews were on the scene at 7 a.m. and remained in the area until 8 a.m.

The accident is under investigation but Linehan said he believes it started with two cars and caused a chain reaction.
