Piano, Rhythm and Innerwealth

Unique approach to piano that nurtures your child's inner wealth as they learn piano.

Mamak Charepoo offers a unique approach to piano lessons. She stresses rhythm through the Dalcroze Eurythmics method and uses the language of the Nurtured Heart Approach to encourage and create inner wealth of the student as they are learning their piano lessons. Students who have been exposed to this method have gained greater awareness and facility with their rhythm and have gone from not wanting to go to piano lessons and wanting to quit to loving the piano and wanting to continue their music education. Their facility and their confidence grows hand in hand.

Mamak Charepoo has a Masters in Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master in Music from Arizona State University. Mamak Charepoo has been a free-lance pianist for over 20 years. She has collaborated with opera singers and instrumentalists for recordings, master classes, and recitals. She has coached opera singers in French, Italian and German diction and art song interpretation. Mamak specialized in French vocal and instrumental music. She premiered “Opera Seria...” by Magda Silva, a musical farce on singers and their accompanists. Mamak was a principal pianist for Women in Tune, Full Circle Women’s Choir and Mesa Symphony. She performed, produced and programmed African American Art-Song Recital series with singers and flutist. Mamak has performed in Master Classes for Jean-Pierre Rampal, Eckard Selheim, Margo Garret, Gladys Stein, Noel Lee, and Ralph Zitterbart.
