Police Log: Driver Flees Scene After Striking Pole

Friday, Dec. 5
At 6:25 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle hit a deer on Adams Street. The deer fled into the woods.
At 10:22 p.m., police reported a two car motor vehicle accident at Reedsdale Road and Centre Street. Two people were transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Saturday, Dec. 6
At 2:05 p.m., police reported larceny of a laptop from Centre Street.

At 4:54 p.m., police reported suspicious activity in which a resident reported an attempted breaking and entering into her home on Curtis Road.
Sunday, Dec. 7
At 4:20 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident in which a car struck a pole near Blue Hill Avenue. The operator of the vehicle fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival. The vehicle was towed.
At 2:20 p.m., police reported a two car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Randolph Avenue and Chickatawbut Road.
Monday, Dec. 8
At 8:12 a.m., police reported harassing calls in which a caller reported that his daughter was receiving harassing text messages on Decker Street.
At 10:15 a.m., police reported a past breaking and entering on Hillside Street.
