Police Log: Driver Strikes Utility Pole While Operating Under the Influence

Friday, Jan. 9
At 7:46 a.m., police reported a two car motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Adams Street and Squantum Street. One vehicle was towed.
At 11:12 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident hit-and-run in which a vehicle drove over hedges on Blue Hills Parkway. The vehicle is believed to have sustained front bumper damage.

Saturday, Jan. 10
At 12:02 a.m., police summonsed an adult female for operating under the influence of alcohol. The female was involved in a single car motor vehicle accident with injury in which she drove off the road and struck a utility pole near Brook Road and Briarfield Road.

At 9:51 a.m., police reported a lost or stolen pocket book on Standish Road.

At 11:08 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident hit-and-run on Mathaurs Street.
Monday, Jan. 12
At 6:57 a.m., police reported breaking and entering on Adams Street.
At 5:01 p.m., police reported larceny in which someone cashed a check in someone else’s name on Marshall Road.
At 8:06 p.m., police reported larceny of Christmas lights taken off property on Audubon Road.
Tuesday. Jan. 13
At 8:39 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident hit-and-run on Randolph Avenue.
At 6:49 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident hit-and-run in which a traffic signal light pole was knocked over near Pleasant Street and Brook Road.
At 8:06 p.m., police reported larceny of identity theft on Parkway Crescent. The victim reported multiple unauthorized transactions on her Metro Credit Union Visa account.
