Police Log: Throwing Eggs, Damaged Lawn, OUI Arrest, and More

The following is from the Milton Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

October 31

7:29 p.m. - A caller reported youths throwing eggs at passing motor vehicles at the intersection of Brook Road and Blue Hills Parkway. An officer searched the area with negative results.

8:06 p.m. - A caller reported a group of youths causing a disturbance near Patricia Drive and Fullers Lane. Officers herded a group out of the woods and located a juvenile male who required emergency medical services.

Fallon Ambulance was notified and transported the patient to the South Shore Hospital.

One juvenile male was placed under arrest for delinquent child and person under 21 possession of liquor. The juvenile was released to his mother at 11:20 p.m.

8:15 p.m. - A third party caller reported that his wife called him stating that someone just broke a window at his home on Warren Avenue. The responding officer reported one single pane of glass was broken by means of a frozen egg.

8:25 p.m. - A 911 caller reported a group of youths throwing objects at a vehicle at the intersection of Thacher Street and Lincoln Street. An officer reported no damage to the vehicle and a search of the area for the youths ended with negative results.

8:58 p.m. - A caller reported a group of youths causing a disturbance near the intersection of Kahler Avenue and Laurel Road. An officer reported that he searched the area with negative results.

9:33 p.m. - A caller reported a youth disturbance on Adams Street. An officer reported that he spoke to the youths who agreed to leave the area for the night.

10:08 p.m. - An officer reported a large group of youths in the woods near Edgehill Road. An officer reported that a number of youths left the area. Five additional youths were transported to the station to be picked up by their parents.

11:02 p.m. - A caller reported that an object was thrown at his vehicle near Edgehill Road and Fullers Lane. An officer reported minor damage to the car, however the owner did not wish to pursue the matter. An area check for the culprits proved negative.

11:07 a.m. - A caller reported that three males in their twenties looked through the windows of his home on Governor’s Road and rang his doorbell. An officer reported that he searched the area with negative results.

11:31 p.m. - A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot on Brush Hill Road. The passenger was placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant and the operator was sent on her way.

November 1

12:24 a.m. - A Caller reported a vehicle that was parked suspiciously with the vehicle running near Church Street and Squantum Street. Police placed one party under arrest for an OUI.

7:06 p.m. - A caller reported that a group of youths in a motor vehicle damaged her neighbors law on Preacher Road. An officer located tire tracks in the lawn. A neighbor was spoken to and the area was checked for vehicle in question with negative results. The homeowner was not home at this time.
