Annual fall tradition is back and open to the public

(October 4, 2018) Milton, MA – The fall tradition is back. Pumpkin Fest 2018 is here. The Boy Scouts Spirit of Adventure Council is happy to announce that this annual celebration of all things “gourd-eous” returns on Saturday Oct. 13th at New England Base Camp in Milton from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. This event is open to the public.

Over 2,000 people are expected to attend Pumpkin Fest 2018, where Scouts will launch pumpkins from trebuchets, see who can accurately split pumpkin seeds the best, play pumpkin mini-golf, go pumpkin bowling, make pumpkin donuts – you get the idea – pumpkins, pumpkins, and more pumpkins!

Like pumpkins? Enjoy scouting activities? The cost of the event is just $35 for the day, and that includes a pumpkin, a patch, prizes and more. All proceeds benefit the Boy Scouts Spirit of Adventure Council – to help operate and maintain New England Base Camp.
