State Police Make Cocaine Bust In Milton
State Police said they found 34 small plastic bags packed with crack cocaine after a traffic stop near Blue Hill River Road.

MILTON, MA — A State Police traffic stop for a suspected registration violation turned into a cocaine bust in Milton. State Police said Cornelius Bell, of Boston, was charged with cocaine trafficking and motor vehicle violations after they found 34 baggies filled with about 35 grams of what is believed to be crack cocaine following the stop on Blue Hill River Road Thursday afternoon.
Police said Trooper Stephen Hazelton was patrolling the area when a random RMV inquiry on a red Dodge Charger revealed a revoked registration. Hazelton stopped the car and said he suspected the driver was giving false answers to his questions. Police said the man gave Hazelton a name used as a past alias in connection with multiple gun and drug charges.
Police said Bell was determined to be the driver's true identity and that his license had been revoked. Bell was arrested and a search of the car discovered 35 grams of what was believed to be crack cocaine. Bell was charged with cocaine trafficking, driving with a revoked license, driving a car with a revoked registration, providing a false name to police, driving without insurance and driving without a license.
