Teens To Be Charged In Milton Animal Shelter Break-in

Just after midnight Monday, the teens broke into the shelter by pushing an air conditioner through a window, according to Milton police.

MILTON, MA — Two teens will likely faces charges related to a break-in at the Milton Animal Shelter.

Just after midnight Monday, the teens broke into the shelter by pushing an air conditioner through a window. No animals were harmed and less than $20 was taken, according to the Milton Police Department.

Police Chief John King told the Patriot Ledger that they were able to identify the teen through a tip from someone who saw surveillance video posted on the police department's Facebook page. That video has since been taken down because the investigation is progressing in a positive direction.

The teens, both juveniles, will appear in juvenile court.
