Timilty Wins State Senate Race

Walter Timilty will move from the State Legislature to the State Senate.

MILTON, MA - Walter Timilty will move into a new office at the State House following a victory Tuesday night.

With 76 percent of the vote reported, the Boston Globe has called the race for the Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth District seat race for the Milton resident. He leads Independent candidate Jon Lott 48,246-14,876.

The win gives Timilty his first term in the State Senate. He has been a member of the State Legislature since 1999.
