Together for Hope Walk for Suicide Prevention and Awareness

The Irish International Immigrant Center hosts its annual walk to raise awareness around suicide

The Boston-based Irish International Immigrant Center (IIIC) will be hosting their annual Together for Hope Walk for Suicide Prevention and Awareness in Pope John Paul II Park on October 17, 2015.

Last year’s walk was a great success, bringing together a community of people to honor loved ones lost and raise money for IIIC’s wellness services providing vital counseling and support to individuals struggling with depression, isolation, and access to care.

Join us as we celebrate survivors, open conversations about mental health, and support IIIC’s suicide prevention services. You can help by starting a team, or walking as an individual; sponsoring a friend or making a one-time donation.

Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the US and has impacted the immigrant community in recent years. Walking with the IIIC on October 17 contributes enormously to our vision of a world without suicide.

For registration, to donate, or to find more information, go to IIIC’s Crowdrise page, or visit our website at www.iiicenter.org/togetherforhope.
