Town Clerk: Census Is In The Mail In Milton
Milton Town Clerk Susan Galvin said prompt return of census is important to ensure place in town active voter registry.
MILTON, MA — The annual town census is in the mail in Milton. Milton Town Clerk Susan Galvin said residents should be on the lookout for this year's form in the upcoming days.
Galvin said the census should be returned within 10 days of receipt to maintain a spot on the active voter registry. Responding to the yearly census helps residents create proof of residency for personal and legal matters. It also helps the town create accurate population counts for state and federal grant applications.
The census also includes a dog license application that must be completed by May 1. Dog license applications must include a valid rabies certificate and, if applicable, proof of spaying or neutering. Residents can also register their dogs in person and on-line.
